Remember the days of turning a wheel to select a letter and squeezing the handle to create a label? Want to go back there? (I don’t either.)
Let’s talk about a modern successor, the Brother P-Touch laminated TZe tape. This labeling tape is often taken for granted, but it is quite an engineering marvel. It’s used for file folders, drawing amendments, faceplates, switch identifiers, and just about anywhere a clear legible, durable label is needed. Heavy industry, schools, offices, field operations, and retail stores are just some of the locations these versatile labels are used. No more masking tape and markers! Easy to apply perfectly every time.
The link for technical data is below, but scan the bullet points — this little label is amazing!
Brother P-Touch laminated TZe tapes are seven layers of material thick, resulting in a thin and extremely strong label. Characters are formed with a thermal transfer ink and then sandwiched between two protective layers of polyester film. This results in a virtually indestructible label that can withstand harsh conditions.
Temperature Resistant
Brother labels are rated at -80 degrees C to 150 degrees C.
Fade Resistant
Brother tapes were exposed to 100 hours of simulated sunlight with no or little fading.
Adhesion
Brother standard and strong adhesive tapes stand up to the job regardless of the surface.
