We are fortunate to carry some of the best brands providing printers and supplies for marking and identifying. Indeed, a large part of our continued success over the last twenty years is owed to the strength of the brands and products we carry. Their variety, quality, and user-friendly designs enable us to confidently make recommendations and create customized solutions for our clients.
With so many great brands to choose from, it can feel a little overwhelming. So, here’s a little introduction to each of our brands including a bit of their history, their innovations, and awards they’ve won over the years.
• Brady
Brady is one of our top brands. Brady Global R&D has technologists all over the world continuously working to improve their products and push the boundaries of innovation. Additionally, environmental sustainability is a goal they actively pursue.
Brady has been in business for a hundred years! During wartime in the 1940s, Brady’s wire markers revolutionized the labeling industry. Military equipment and vehicles (including ships and planes) being built were large and complex systems, which brought about the need to have an easy, efficient way to identify wires. Brady created self-adhesive, pre-printed wire markers that would stand up to intense hot and cold temperatures. To this day, the line of wire markers continues to be one of their leading products lines.
Founded in 2008, EBS-USA provides cutting-edge coding and printing solutions to North, South, and Central America. Quality products and service are part of their ongoing commitment.
Founded in Germany in 1977, Elektronische Beschriftungs-Systeme (EBS) founder Jan Slomianny was the first to begin developing the flexible “Drop-on-Demand Ink-Jet” (DOD) BDT 2016 and BDT 2000 print head design. By slanting the print head, the innovation made it possible to adjust the print height. This 1980 innovation has since has been adopted around the world by many companies. It has since paved the way to other innovations involving the possibility of quick-drying inks for plastic, metal, glass and rubber printing applications. This is the kind of innovation that has kept EBS a leader in marking in Europe and now in the Americas.
