1) Are supplies readily available?
A printer is only as good as the supplies that it uses. If supplies are not inventoried for instant delivery, delays lead to frustration and remorse about the purchase.
2) Are the supplies affordable?
Over the life of the printer, supplies can add up in cost of ownership. Make sure the supplies offer good value.
3) Can the printer be exchanged?
If a printer underperforms based on your needs, an exchange should be available.
4) Is training included?
Reading the manual is fine, but nothing replaces in-person or video training (especially when you misplace the manual or CD).
5) Is the supplier knowledgeable about printers?

6) Can I rent before I buy?
